My night time skin care routine..

As'salam u alykum ladies,
Hope all is good with you all...SO.. My posts to this blog should resume starting now! God willing.

 I've been meaning to write this post for a while, but as usual, I digress. Gotta change that!

If you're anything like me, you would know how amazing it is to have a good skin care regime and for it to work for you through out..

Just a quick background, I've super dehydrated, crazy, sensitive, parched and dry skin. :o

Also, the harsh cold and rapidly changing climate does no good to my skin. I'm still on the hunt for something that will REALLY hydrate my skin. Just put the moisture back. seriously. But, for now.. this  is what I'm loving! I'm very particular about washing/cleansing my face- every single night before hitting the bed.
So here goes.....

Products I've been loving lately..

         I like try to keep it really simple and quick. I try. 

• I take off my eye make up (concealer/mascara) and anything else I may have on with some cotton pads and Bioderma. I love this stuff and get mine from Shoppers. It's pricey but works so well for I'd say, any skin type. French pharmacy ftw!
• I rinse and wash my face with Cetaphil.
• I then follow this up with either Eucerin face cream or Argan oil which I'm loving! I'm using this one by Josie Maran.
• Next, if you know me, you would know how I'm always trying to find the best eye cream. I suffer from hereditary dark circles AND dryness so ...:/ I'm currently finishing this one up by Roc. I can't find a link to this product on their website but I got mine from Shoppers, again. I've definitely enjoyed using this. Its not a miracle product or anything but a good purchase since I've tried A LOT of eye creams and they're for the most part a big disappointment. Any how.
• The last step is usually moisturizing my lips.  I like this one by Burt's bees or the Fresh Sugar lip treatment.

So that is all I do.. it takes me 10 minutes may be? I take my time and its comforting to know your skins clean and can breathe! hehe.

Save me, for I'm at Your door once again.

Amidst a wreck of plans,broken hopes and tears. Its another realization of where I put my hope, my heart and my soul. Despite the scars and the bruises, I'm back again at Your door. I'm walking toward You one more time, my lesson learned and my intentions re defined. I know, I'm toiling. Toiling towards You. It is tiring. Each step I take is heavier than the last. For I've learned. Again. Nothing should define me, define my happiness or sadness, except You. Here I'm. Once again. I've bled and felt the pain. O Master of my affairs, I'm too weak. Too feeble to carry on. Here I'm- at Your Glorious door once again. I'm down on my knees. A beggar, begging for Your Mercy. My entire self is Yours- all Yours. Please, take me in. Please, save me, yet again. For I'm at Your door once again. *

The much dreaded intro!

As'salam u alykum and hello my lovlies.....

I've been putting this off for a while now knowing how bad I'm at intros and such but here goes...
My name's Rumysa (surprise, surprise). I'm 25. I have a law degree and I live with my amazing husband in Canada. I'm passionate about God, spirituality, food, fashion/beauty, make up and fitness. I happen to have my interests all over the place. I'm also passionate about writing and sharing what I've learned and am learning... hence, the birth of this little space for me to talk, talk and talk  write some more. : )
